Job summary

Leidos seeks a Software Test & Integration Engineer to support the DEVCOM SC mission in Natick, MA. You will lead software-related challenges, drive issues to resolution, and support hands-on flight testing as part of a multidisciplinary government team.

You will maintain and evolve a government-owned software codebase, clamp down on vulnerabilities, and collaborate with government, contractor, and test organizations to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software-related field with 2–6 years of experience (substitutions possible).
• Proven abilities with Python and/or C/C++ and software development.
• Experience with Linux command-line environments and embedded software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Flight Test & Field Operations Support.
• Travel to drop zones and test ranges (1–2 weeks per trip).
• Configure and operate ground stations and telemetry equipment in field environments.
• Conduct pre-drop software and system checks; assist with rigging and loading.
• Recover and validate flight data; deliver quick-look analyses for go/no-go decisions.
• Troubleshoot software and integration issues under tight timelines.
