Job summary

Davidson Technologies, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to support the IBCS Engagement and Track Management Agile Software Team.

You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers to build robust, secure, and scalable software for C2 applications used by warfighters worldwide. The role emphasizes hands-on development in an integrated SAFe Agile environment, with opportunities to solve complex problems and contribute to documentation, testing, and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in STEM with 3 years of relevant experience.
• PhD in STEM with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Active DoD 8140/8570 certification (e.g. Security+ CE).
• Active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain Java-based enterprise and tactical software on Linux, implementing logical and mathematical solutions aligned with program objectives.
• Participate in SAFe Scrum teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to develop and sustain multiple software baselines.
• Perform software upgrades across multiple languages while preserving operational behavior; analyze and resolve complex software issues.
• Create and update technical documentation (Markdown and collaboration tools).
• Support and improve testing and automation, including unit/functional tests, code coverage, static analysis, and CI/CD pipelines; develop automation tools to enhance operations, monitoring, and deployment.
