Davidson-Technologies,-Inc. is seeking a Jr. to Mid-Level Software Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama, to support the ISL team for the Integrated Battle Command System.

You will design, develop, and sustain mission-critical C2 software in collaboration with hardware and systems engineers. The role involves working within SAFe Scrum teams, handling multiple programming languages, and contributing to testing, documentation, and system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field required for Jr; Master's or PhD for advanced levels.
• Proficient in Java and C++ (approximately 50/50 effort).
• Experience with scripting languages Bash, Perl, Python.
• Proficiency in Linux development and runtimes.
• Knowledge of encryption techniques and data-at-rest protection.
• Active DoD Secret clearance and CompTIA Security+ certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug C2 mission software and systems.
• Collaborate on SAFe Scrum teams to deliver software across baselines.
• Assist with software upgrades while preserving operational behavior.
• Maintain logs, version tracking, and data recording; manage IDL tasks.
• Support troubleshooting on test lines and environments; document work with Markdown.
