Job summary

Patriot Group International LLC (PGI) is seeking a Business Development Account Executive to lead and scale business development across DoD, special operations, and homeland security markets from Herndon, VA. The role requires lifecycle pipeline management, strategic pursuit leadership, and strong senior stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of progressive business development, capture, or program leadership experience within defense, special operations, intelligence, or homeland security mission support space.
• Demonstrated experience managing a growth pipeline and leading opportunity pursuits, including shaping opportunities through client engagement and proposal development.
• Established relationships within the defense, special operations, and/or homeland security community.
• Strong interpersonal and executive communication skills to engage with military and civilian leaders, contracting officers, and senior staff.
• Active Top Secret Clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
• PMP, Shipley, or similar capture management certification.

Responsibilities

• Own a single, accurate pipeline in the cleared facility and cloud provider ecosystem.
• Own and run the gate review process and meetings on pursuits within their domain.
• Identify and pursue contract vehicles and teaming arrangements (IDIQs, MATOCs, GWACs) for scalable growth.
• Represent the company in defense and homeland security groups and conferences (SOF Week, AUSA, Modern Day Marine).
• Maintain a current view of the competitive landscape across the relevant markets and incumbents.
• Provide regular strategic briefings on pipeline health, market trends, and resourcing needs.
• Identify capability gaps and adjacent markets for growth.
