Job summary

CAE Vision: This position is within the Training System Support Center (TSSC) production team, supporting development, integration, and deployment of training systems. You will work on networking, interfacing with platform simulation applications, software design, troubleshooting, and the full software implementation lifecycle under lead engineers.

Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
2-4 years of software development, system integration, or technical support experience.
Foundational software engineering practices and debugging techniques.
Ability to follow engineering guidance with general direction.
Familiarity with OS, networking, and software installation processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication for reporting and documentation.
Time management and teamwork in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Performs hands-on engineering tasks within a production team for training systems.
Collaborates with lead engineers to deliver quality software and interfaces.
Designs, modifies, and implements software applications used in simulation environments.
Provides technical support for software, OS, and simulation components.
Participates in the full software engineering lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
Creates and maintains accurate technical documentation and guides.
