Job summary

CAE Vision designs and deploys digitally immersive training solutions for defense, security and civil aviation. This role sits in production engineering, supporting development, integration, and deployment of training systems with cross-functional teams.

Under supervision, you will work on software design, debugging, and documentation, ensuring alignment with CAE standards and customer requirements across simulation environments.

Qualifications

• BS in CS, SWE, EE or related discipline or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in software development, systems integration, or engineering support.
• Foundational knowledge of programming, debugging, and structured development.
• Familiarity with operating systems and networking concepts.
• Ability to follow engineering direction with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Team-oriented collaboration in a technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in a production team for training systems and software.
• Assist in networking design and interface with platform simulations.
• Follow lead engineers and meet project timelines with guidance.
• Communicate status, risks, and solutions to leads and stakeholders.
• Design and implement software for training system components.
• Install and support software apps and operating systems in simulations.
