Job summary

DEFTEC in the United States is seeking a Project Programming Support Specialist to develop and manage facility project programming packages for USAF/USSF and other DoD programs, aligning with AFCEC rules and UFCs. You will gather requirements, produce PACES-based estimates, and prepare DD Form 1391 documentation for approval, supporting up to 15 projects annually.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture and at least 5 years of facility design or DoD project programming experience.
• Strong ability to gather, validate, and document requirements from stakeholders.
• Experience with AFCEC policies, UFCs, and DAFIs is a plus.
• Proven track record meeting project milestones and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project programming products conforming to AFCEC rules and policies.
• Support work order review board with timely project data for weekly sessions.
• Complete programming actions for FSRM, NRG, MILCON, NAF, and ERCIP per USAF/USSF rules and UFCs.
• Document actions in NexGen IT and CPP as required.
• Obtain and document requirements so the programming package reflects scope and mission needs.
• Produce PACES-based parametric cost estimates and basis of estimate within 3–4 weeks.
• Program up to 15 projects annually in compliance with applicable rules.
• Input programming requirements into CPP based on project scope.
• Prepare programming documents such as DD 1391 for approvals.
