Job summary

DEFTEC Corp is seeking a Project Programming Support Specialist to develop and manage facility programming packages for USAF/USSF and other programs. The role involves gathering requirements, producing PACES-based estimates, and preparing DD1391 documentation for approvals, while ensuring compliance with AFCEC rules and UFCs.

The ideal candidate has a engineering or architecture degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong analytical skills and milestone-driven execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture with 5+ years in facility design or construction PM, or 5+ years in DoD/DoW project programming.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles and analytical techniques to support projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver programming products conforming to AFCEC rules with no noncompliance findings.
• Support work order reviews by providing timely, complete project data for weekly sessions.
• Complete programming actions for USAF/USSF projects per rules and document in NexGen IT.
• Obtain and document requirements from stakeholders so the approved package reflects scope.
• Produce PACES-based cost estimates and bases of estimate within 3–4 weeks.
• Program up to 15 projects annually and update CPP/NexGen databases.
• Input programming requirements into CPP based on project scope.
• Prepare programming documents (DD 1391) for government approvals.
