Job summary

Quest Defense Systems and Solutions is seeking Project Engineers to coordinate engineering schedules, documentation, and stakeholder activities to keep projects on track in East Hartford, CT.

The role requires DoD Secret/Collateral clearance (existing or ability to obtain). You will work with Jira, MS Project, SAP, and Confluence to manage milestones, budgets, and deliverables in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM is required.
1-4 years relevant work experience.
Proficient in MS SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, Access, Project and PowerPoint; also Jira, Confluence, and SAP.
Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Must be a U.S. citizen; DoD clearance eligible.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate project scheduling and milestones in Jira, MS Project, or SAP.
Create catalogs documents in a searchable file; update files to a clear, common nomenclature.
Coordinate with SMEs to fix technical shortfalls and add content.
Review documents for completeness and coordinate approvals in Confluence.
Develop review presentations with problem statements, solution options, and required drawings/documents.
Support review meetings and close action items.
Maintain traceability in Teamcenter.
Develop change schedules in SAP, Primavera, and MS Project.
Coordinate with stakeholders to assess cost and schedule vs. plan.
Develop weekly status reports on status, priorities, issues, and performance.
Familiar with Agile Project Management and Scrum.
