Job summary

Textron Systems in Wilmington, MA, seeks a Project Manager to own a subset of a major defense program within a dynamic Program Office. You will coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers, ensuring on-time, within-budget program execution in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong organization, teamwork, and communication skills, with experience in program scheduling, risk management, and proposal support. Active Secret clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or similar discipline.
• 3 years of experience on project teams, including schedule development/monitoring and risk management.
• Technical aptitude to navigate complex engineering discussions and support informed decisions.
• Proficiency in MS Office for analysis, formulas, pivot tables, reports, and databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and drive alignment.
• Active Secret clearance with potential for Special Access approval.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating financial, technical, and schedule performance across complex activities.
• Driving cross-functional technical alignment across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers.
• Managing projects in the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and understanding critical paths.
• Supporting CAMs with budget, Estimates to Complete, and variance reporting.
• Coordinating with procurement to align material purchases with timelines.
• Providing timely program communications and solving customer issues.
• Assisting with proposal generation and submittal.
