Job summary

Armaments Research Company is seeking a Defense Mission Lead to oversee key defense deployments, manage program timelines, and coordinate on-site system integration with engineering teams. You will serve as the face of ARC for defense customers, ensuring successful deployment and sustained mission effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in defense operations or military-focused program management.
• Prior service in the U.S. military or direct support to DoD strongly preferred.
• Experience managing complex deployments or fielding of defense systems.
• Ability to translate customer needs into actionable insights for product and engineering teams.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites, including austere locations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for designated defense customers, managing deployments from planning through sustainment.
• Own and drive program timelines, risk mitigation, and customer reporting with cross-functional teams.
• Support contract execution, milestone tracking, deliverables, and compliance.
• Lead onsite integration of ARC systems with engineering and support teams.
• Represent ARC at field exercises, testing events, and technical forums.
• Translate customer feedback into product roadmap inputs for engineers.
• Identify opportunities for follow-on sales and broader adoption of ARC technologies.
• Build trusted relationships with end users, acquisition officers, and unit leadership.
