Job summary

GMRE is seeking a qualified financial management professional to support USAF program offices with cost modeling, budgeting, and acquisition program management. You will integrate PPBE data with project management frameworks to track performance and analyze contractor cost data.

The role requires DoD/USAF experience, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to brief leadership and stakeholders. A SECRET clearance and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in accounting or related field; education may be substituted with approval.
• 8–10 years of DoD/USAF financial management and acquisition cost analysis experience.
• Experience with DoD weapon systems, acquisition lifecycle, and sustainment testing related to systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial data integrity within USAF accounting systems and prepare executive briefings.
• Review and analyze CPR/IPMR; calculate Earned Value metrics.
• Generate PRs, track COE, and reconcile variances against benchmark rates.
• Coordinate with prime contractors and government entities for budget alignment.
• Brief leadership on test plan methodology and associated risks.
• Prepare budget reports showing allowances and expenditures for the squadron.
• Present findings to stakeholders and decision makers in briefings/reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and methodologies.
• Adhere to safety, security, and compliance policies.
