Job summary

Aether Aerospace seeks a Pricing Analyst to lead cost estimation, pricing strategy, and financial modeling for complex DoD contracts in the Washington, DC metro area. You will analyze material, labor, and overhead costs, build BOEs, and develop cost models to support proposals and pricing reviews with FAR/CAS compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree with 6–12 years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cost estimation, pricing strategy, and financial modeling for complex contracts.
• Ability to develop technical solutions to pricing challenges with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of government contracts, including FAR, CAS, and various contract types.
• Proven ability to provide strategic pricing guidance and facilitate pricing reviews with leadership.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Determine material, labor, and overhead costs for contractual efforts
• Estimate labor and material costs using RFP data
• Analyze specifications and calculate production costs using pricing schedules and data
• Develop, write, and maintain compliant Cost Volumes and Basis of Estimate
• Create cost models for cost-estimating elements
• Prepare cost reports and present findings to management and stakeholders
• Support Price-to-Win and competitive assessments
• Facilitate executive pricing reviews and provide guidance to teams
