Job summary

Noblis MSD is hiring a Computer Controls Automation Systems Engineer to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot facility systems for defense programs. The role includes system updates, lab integration, HMI development, and PLC engineering using Rockwell Studio 5000 and Siemens STEP/TIA Portal.

The position requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 3 years’ experience (or a HS diploma with 6 years in industrial engineering), CompTIA Security+, US citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 3 years experience, or HS diploma with 6 years in industrial engineering.
CompTIA Security+ certification
US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance
Passport required, travel two weeks at a time, 3–4 times per year
Basic PLC/Controls experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of industrial control systems fundamentals

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and troubleshoot facility systems for defense systems in lab environments.
Perform system updates, design, development, modeling/simulation and integration of naval facility control systems.
Conduct HMI development for local lab and forward facility systems.
Develop PLC engineering, utilizing Rockwell Studio 5000 and Siemens STEP/ TI Portal.
Develop and deploy industrial interfaces and create technical documentation.
