Job summary

GM Defense in Warren, MI, is seeking a Part Order Fulfillment Program Coordinator within the Sustainment Parts and Service (SPS) Operations team. This hybrid role coordinates part orders from intake to delivery, supporting SAP-based order management and cross‑functional execution with operations, supply chain, finance, logistics, contracts, and program teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Candidate must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, asylee or refugee).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and tight deadlines.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities with sound judgment.
• Demonstrated passion for understanding customer needs and delivering an exceptional experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with GM and Government leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming part orders and manage execution from intake to fulfillment and delivery tracking.
• Support order management activities in SAP and related systems including setup, inventory validation, and invoice readiness.
• Collaborate with logistics, packaging, purchasing, finance, contracting, and material management to ensure smooth progression and escalate issues.
• Maintain program timing plans, track risks and issues, and support cross-functional readiness for parts and sustainment execution.
• Monitor operational metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive process improvements as demand grows across programs.
• Document and implement processes to enhance GM Defense customer experience and operational efficiency.
