Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Systems Engineer - Machine Learning to bridge systems engineering, applied physics, and ML for missile defense solutions. You will work on track fusion, threat-assignment, and sensor data integration in a highly capable defense tech environment.

The role requires an active U.S. Secret clearance, 5+ years of experience, and strong skills in Python/C++, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and physics-informed modeling.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret security clearance is required.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, ML/AI.
• Strong mastery of applied mathematics, physics, and programming.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++, PyTorch or TensorFlow, GPU coding, multi-agent reinforcement learning, and algorithm development.
• Experience with Windows and Linux.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and deploy ML models including generative AI, RL, DNNs, and physics-based models.
• Formulate and solve complex physics problems using mathematical techniques and algorithms.
• Work on sensor fusion, track fusion, and threat classification components.
• Design trade studies, sensitivity analyses, and parametric evaluations to validate performance.
• Translate mathematical equations into clean, functional code in Python or C++ for modeling and simulation.
