Castelion is seeking a Mission Software Engineer to build the software that connects our products into an integrated mission capability. This hands-on role designs, writes, reviews, tests, and commits production code across our software stack, collaborating with flight software, avionics, and systems engineering teams.

You will develop APIs and data pipelines for mission data, implement interfaces with aircraft, weapons, and C2 systems, and work on mission planning, targeting data, and system

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with Git, code review, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, networking, data serialization, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Experience with hardware interfaces or external services; debugging complex systems; cross-team collaboration.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, test, and deploy production software for weapons, launchers, C2, sensors, and planning.
• Build APIs, services, and data pipelines for mission data throughout the architecture.
• Develop interfaces between Castelion products and aircraft, launchers, and government systems.
• Implement communications across Ethernet, TCP/UDP, CAN, MIL-STD protocols.
• Create simulators and test infrastructure for SIL/HIL and system testing.
• Collaborate with flight software, avionics, and systems engineering teams.
