Parker Aerospace Group, Defense Systems Division, Irvine, CA, is seeking a Production Machinist to set up and operate conventional and CNC lathes, turret lathes, mills and related equipment to fabricate metal and nonmetal parts from drawings. Strong inspection and shop-safety practices are essential.

Responsibilities include measuring, adjusting speeds/feeds, and verifying tolerances. Candidates should have recent CNC experience and willingness to work 1st shift with overtime opportunities.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required with 6+ years of CNC experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to read technical documents.
• Experience with CNC machining, inspection, and shop safety is required.

Responsabilidades

• Read blueprints and specs to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up and operate lathes and mills; adjust speeds and feeds as needed.
• Select fixtures and tooling; verify machine conformance to specs.
• Monitor machine operation and correct out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Maintain and inspect finished parts and equipment.
