Jobot is seeking a paralegal with defense litigation experience to support our litigation team in Tempe, AZ. The role offers a 37.5-hour workweek, competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include legal research, drafting pleadings, trial prep, and meticulous case management. Candidates should have 3–5+ years of defense litigation experience and an ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries.
• Draft disclosures, written discovery, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, hearings, depositions, and other litigation matters.
• Review and organize case evidence, including sensitive photographs, records, and other materials related to complex incidents.
• Manage case files, legal documents, deadlines, and case-related information.
• Prepare and file court documents in compliance with applicable court rules and deadlines.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties as directed by attorneys.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with professional and ethical standards.
• Monitor developments in applicable laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
• Record billable and approved non-billable time with a minimum productive target of ~6 hours/day.
