Job summary

Direct Recruiters Inc. seeks a seasoned mechanical/systems engineer to design and deliver customized lifting solutions for defense applications. You will read drawings, liaise with customers and OEMs, and collaborate with engineering teams to translate requirements into engineered configurations.

You’ll support quoting, proposals, and project execution for truck-mounted cranes, load handling systems, and specialized lifting gear, with travel around 10–15% and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with experience in defense equipment or heavy/mobile hydraulic systems.
• Able to read engineering drawings and communicate technical concepts with customers and teams.
• CAD and applications/project engineering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical liaison between customers, OEMs, engineering, and business development to create lifting solutions.
• Translate requirements into engineered configurations and support quoting and project execution.
• Support a portfolio of truck-mounted cranes and defense lifting equipment meeting operational needs.
