Job summary

Defense Logistics Agency Information Operations, J-6 seeks an IT Program Manager (Policy and Planning) to drive project proposals, cost estimates, and lifecycle adherence for DoD-wide logistics and business systems. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams and advise on risks and deployment implications to partners and HQ.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position.
• Specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service, military, or private sector.
• Creditable specialized experience includes: evaluating compliance with laws, regulations, policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares project proposal and cost estimates utilizing input from other J6 functional and technical teams.
• Adheres to lifecycle processes to ensure compliance with DoD Acquisition requirements.
• Facilitates needs analysis sessions to define opportunities for business process or technical infrastructure solutions.
• Provides advice on impacts, risks, and mitigation of software development and technology deployment decisions.
• Coordinates information and acts as liaison with DLA HQ and customers for IT application enhancements and integrations.
