Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is hiring an Information Systems Manager to lead complex IT projects for NETCOM, including design, development, and testing across DODIN components.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience, a BA/BS, and 8570 IAM Level I plus ITIL 4 Foundation; a Secret clearance and US citizenship are required. Successful candidates will coordinate with vendors and government stakeholders to deliver on-time, within budget.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (BA/BS).
• Experience: 5+ years in related IT/program management roles.
• Certifications: 8570 IAM Level I; ITIL 4 Foundation.
• Security: Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical, administrative, and operational project leadership, including oversight of subcontractors.
• Develop technical project plans, proposals, and status reports to drive progress.
• Document gap analysis, staging, installation, and testing within schedule and cost limits.
• Plan workload with client; synchronize requirements across lifecycle and identify issues in meetings.
• Attend customer meetings; liaison with vendors and agencies to remove roadblocks.
• Coordinate deliverables; ensure QA of project outputs and manage day-to-day operations.
• Validate spend plans and cost quantities; coordinate shipments to meet fielding timelines.
• Create briefs and project plans to support NETCOM and ensure approvals.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant tech; participate in special projects to advance mission.
• Collaborate with team, customer, and vendors to apply architecture across lifecycle stages.
• Drive innovation by promoting cloud, automation, and AI efficiencies; conduct root-cause analysis.
• Use Microsoft Project/SharePoint/Teams for coordination and MS Outlook for communication.
