Job summary

Strategic Data Systems seeks an IT Program Manager to lead a Dahlgren-based contract, overseeing program execution, risk management, and growth initiatives. The role directs Technical Leads and support personnel in operations including database management, network operations, cybersecurity, and information assurance.

The candidate will manage budgets and schedules, conduct meetings, and serve as primary customer contact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's desired.
• Ten+ years of professional management experience, with 5+ years in DoD or Navy IT systems.
• Experience overseeing administrative and contractual matters; provide technical, schedule, and cost direction.
• Experience serving as liaison between government representative and COR; knowledge of DoD processes.
• PMP and defense acquisition certifications/education are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead to manage all operational aspects of the contract, including program execution, growth, and risk management.
• Provide leadership to Technical Leads and support personnel.
• Manage budgets, schedules, performance standards, and contract planning.
• Conduct program meetings, reviews, and coordinate briefings with customers and senior management.
• Interview, hire, onboard personnel, and mentor the team to meet customer requirements.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for program information.
• Possibility to pursue business development within current or new customers.
