Job summary

Planet is seeking a Customer Success Manager specializing in Defense and Intelligence to manage U.S. accounts and drive value from Planet’s imagery and platform. You will guide customers through platform nuances, provide training, and advocate on their behalf to internal teams.

The role requires geospatial fluency, DoD/IC collaboration experience, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. Hybrid work from Arlington, VA with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Customer Success, account management, or related fields.
• Experience collaborating with the U.S. Department of Defense and/or Intelligence Community is preferred.
• Proficient in remote sensing, GIS, or geospatial imagery products and their DoD/IC applications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a client-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with Defense and Intelligence customers.
• Ensure onboarding, training, and effective use of Planet's platforms and data.
• Provide hands-on training and support for Planet’s solutions.
• Identify expansion opportunities and support renewals with Account Executives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Support, and Professional Services to deliver a seamless customer experience.
