Job summary

RTX is seeking a motivated Digital Design Engineer in McKinney, TX to support ASIC/FPGA based defense systems. You will translate system requirements into hardware designs, participate in verification, and work under senior engineers.

Responsibilities include building test benches, running simulations, debugging failures, and collaborating with systems, mechanical, and software teams while traveling occasionally. This role offers growth opportunities and requires DoD Secret clearance and U.S.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in EE, CE or STEM required by start date.
• Experience with FPGA (Xilinx/Altera), RTL design (Verilog/VHDL) and simulation tools.
• Strong debugging using waveforms and logs; proficiency with Python, Perl or Shell.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of verification plans.
• Build and maintain test benches (using UVM).
• Debug simulation failures.
• Create and run test cases.
• Support functional coverage.
• Collaborate across teams.
