Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a senior finance transformation consultant to support the Department of War clients in transforming core financial management functions. The role focuses on architecture, data integration, metadata management, and platform optimization to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.

The successful candidate will lead back-end development, data governance initiatives, and API/data pipeline design, collaborating with SMEs, engineers, and program teams to modernize

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, IT, Logistics or Business Management.
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one preferred.
• Experience with DoW financial systems such as Advana / War Data Platform, GFEBS, LMP, FASTR, DEAMS, DAI, and Navy ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end applications and services supporting federal financial management transformation initiatives.
• Develop and support forward-deployed technology solutions embedded within client environments.
• Analyze and optimize data structures, database schemas, and application architecture to improve performance.
• Develop metadata management strategies to improve data governance and usability.
• Develop APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations for enterprise data movement.
