Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Manager in its Financial Management practice to lead finance transformation initiatives for Department of War clients. You will drive end-to-end projects, design future-state processes, and enable analytics platforms to deliver auditable, compliant financial operations.

You will work with senior leaders to align strategies, manage teams, and promote change management across complex federal finance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
• Four (4) years of experience in financial management consulting or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with data analytics, automation, and AI tools applied to financial management use cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Transformation Projects: Oversee end-to-end delivery of initiatives that modernize financial operations and strengthen performance management for Department of War clients.
• Strategic Process Improvement: Assess current-state financial processes and design future-state solutions for optimized reporting, compliance, and operational integrity.
• Technology Enablement: Drive adoption of tools like Tableau, Power BI, PowerApps, ServiceNow, Databricks, Snowflake, and Palantir to build dashboards, automate workflows, and develop AI-driven models.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Advise senior client executives and ensure alignment with federal financial policies and audit readiness.
• Team Leadership & Development: Mentor project teams and grow analytics, automation, and financial management capabilities.
• Change Management: Promote organizational readiness and adoption of new processes and technologies.
