Responsibilities

• Perform financial statement audits, including internal control testing.
• Conduct historical comparative analysis of financial records to identify trends, variances, and risks.
• Support financial processes for the client, focusing on defense-related operations.
• Utilize Excel extensively to analyze data, reconcile discrepancies, and create data-driven visualizations (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, slicers, Power Query, macros).
• Apply business process improvement techniques to optimize workflows across financial and auditing functions.
• Maintain proficiency in GAAP and GAGAS to ensure audit compliance.
• Provide thorough documentation and reports for audit standards and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain process improvements aligned with objectives.
• May be assigned additional duties as needed.
