Job summary

Innovative Management Concepts, Inc. (IMC) is seeking an Audit Support Financial Analyst to support a large government customer from our Honolulu, HI onsite office. The role requires 3+ years of audit experience and DoD/GAAP knowledge.

Citizenship and DoD Secret clearance are required day one, with a focus on internal controls, data analysis, and communication across platforms. Onsite work and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience performing financial statement audits, including internal control testing.
• Experience with DoD or Navy environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and advanced charting such as slicers, data visualization, reconciliations, Power Query, and macros.
• Knowledge of GAAP and GAGAS.
• Excellent communication skills across multiple platforms.
• U.S. Citizenship required for government contract.
• Active DoD Secret clearance day one is required before entry on duty.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, reconcile, and maintain financial data, audit evidence, and support documentation.
• Analyze budget, accounting, obligation, expenditure and reporting data to identify discrepancies, trends, and control gaps.
• Track audit findings, corrective actions, milestones, due dates, and closure documentation.
• Support internal control testing, risk assessments, process reviews, SOPs, reports, dashboards, briefings, and executive summaries.
• Assist with budget execution reviews, funds status reporting, obligation and expenditure analysis, unmatched transaction research, and year-end closeout activities.
• Perform other related audit support, financial analysis, documentation, and reporting duties as assigned.
