Job summary

Parallel Wireless is seeking a Program Manager for the US Defense and Federal Group. The role directs all phases of programs from inception through completion, driving delivery, costs, schedules, and compliance for DoW and USG projects.

Based in the Washington DC area, you will coordinate with customers and subcontractors, establish program plans, manage risk, and grow scope while aligning with EVMS and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (US citizenship required) or currently hold an active SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance.
• Experience managing DoW development projects for RF communications, networking, or cellular applications.
• Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification.
• Knowledge of US DoW and Government Project Management practices and EVMS.
• Experience using Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
• Technical background in RF communications with strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Program Management of DoW and USG programs involving RF, mesh networking, and Open RAN-based 5G/6G solutions for federal and defense applications.
• Coordinate with customers and subcontractors to negotiate and track Statements of Work, milestones, risk registers, schedules, and costs.
• Establish and execute program plans under firm fixed or cost-plus constructs; grow the program by identifying additional scope.
• Collaborate with functional teams to meet or exceed program goals in a dynamic environment.
