Job summary

Parallel Wireless is seeking a Program Manager for the US Defense and Federal Group. The Program Manager directs all phases of programs from inception through completion and will drive execution to achieve key business objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow.

Based in the Washing DC - Baltimore Area, the role focuses on Open RAN and RF technologies for federal and defense applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (US citizenship required) or holding an active SECRET/TOP SECRET clearance.
• Experience managing DoW development projects for RF communications, networking, or cellular applications.
• PMP certification and knowledge of EVMS and US DoW project management practices.
• Experience using Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; RF technical background with business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion for DoW and USG programs.
• Drive program execution to achieve orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow.
• Coordinate with customers and subcontractors to negotiate and track Statements of Work, milestones, risk register, schedule, and cost variances.
• Establish and execute program plans in firm fixed or cost-plus constructs.
• Grow the program by identifying and capturing additional or follow-on scope.
• Collaborate with functional teams to meet or exceed program contract goals.
