Zusammenfassung

Leonardo DRS is hiring an Assembler for the 1st shift at our Germantown, MD facility. This on-site role involves preparing, wiring, harness assembly, and PCB sub-assemblies, with a strong emphasis on quality and timely completion.

You will read blueprints and process instructions, perform soldering and component installation, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required, with at least 1 year of soldering experience.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and process instructions.

Aufgaben

• Perform advanced assembly tasks including prep, mechanical, harness, cable, PCB sub-assemblies and inspection.
• Solder and install electronics components to PWAs using various tools.
• Interpret blueprints and process instructions; maintain quality and on-time delivery.
• Work with others across Manufacturing Engineering and Quality; resolve issues.
• Follow written work instructions and adhere to safety procedures (WHMIS).
• Train lower level employees and participate in LEAN events and process improvements.
