DRS RADA Technologies is hiring reliable Assemblers to join our rapidly growing manufacturing team in Germantown, Maryland. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, takes initiative, and is motivated to build a rewarding career in a fast-paced, industry-leading workplace.

Location: Germantown, MD. Schedule: 9/80; Shift: 1st Shift. You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. The position offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance and 401(k) contributions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards is expected.

Responsabilités

• Produce quality work to prescribed standards with focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.
• Follow written work instructions and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures (WHMIS).
• Properly use required PPE and maintain equipment.
• Assist in assembly processes including prep, mechanical, harness, cable, PCB sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection.
• Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation; interpret and follow build documentation.
• Perform pull-tests, verify tooling, and interpret/deduce assembly requirements for multiple units in dept.
• Maintain safety procedures and access production tools (routers, parts lists, work instructions).
