Job summary

WisEngineering is seeking a Data Engineer with strong analytics and dashboard development experience to support defense programs at Picatinny Arsenal. You will design, build, deploy, and maintain data pipelines, models, and interactive dashboards for prototype performance, M&S outputs, and test metrics, enabling timely data-driven decisions by government stakeholders.

From enterprise Army platforms—including Army Vantage (Palantir Foundry)—to Python workflows, you will deliver scalable data

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years in data engineering, dashboard creation, BI, or data integration.
• Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, or similar) and SQL.
• Experience with Army Vantage (Palantir Foundry), Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Experience handling large datasets (test data, telemetry, M&S outputs).
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure data pipelines across defense data stores.
• Create dashboards and analytics tools on Army Vantage, Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik.
• Translate prototype tests and M&S outputs into intuitive visuals.
• Monitor trends to support long-term system maintainability.
• Collaborate with Government teams to define requirements and KPIs.
• Identify data sources and align metrics with mission goals.
• Develop and deliver training for dashboards usage and sustainment.
