Job summary

Agile Defense, LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to support secure data pipelines and analytics-ready datasets in a DoD-focused environment. The role requires collaboration with data scientists, engineers, and mission stakeholders to process structured and unstructured data using Databricks, Spark, Palantir Foundry, or comparable platforms.

This position requires U.S. citizenship with an active Secret security clearance and may require higher clearances for certain projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• 3+ years in data engineering, software development, or analytics.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; experience with data validation, modeling, and quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to process structured/unstructured data.
• Apply best practices for data validation, modeling, and quality in Databricks, Spark, or comparable platforms.
