Qualifications

• Completed introductory coursework in cybersecurity, information assurance, or networking.
• Self-driven with accountability, able to manage tasks and deliver quality work on schedule.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with system categorization and initial control mapping to NIST SP 800-53.
• Support development and maintenance of System Security Plans, POA&Ms, and security evidence repositories.
• Help execute baseline vulnerability scans and document findings for remediation tracking.
• Apply standard configuration baselines and STIG checklists to assigned lab or development components under guidance.
• Assist in assembling inputs for Security Assessment Plans and assessment activities.
• Support basic control verification activities and collect test evidence during integration or lab events.
