Job summary

V2X Inc in Indianapolis is seeking a Project Engineering Intern to join our team during the Summer of 2027. You will work across Systems, Hardware, and Software Engineering, supporting design, development, integration, and testing of airborne and ground-based projects.

You’ll contribute to cross-disciplinary teams spanning Production, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance, helping manage the lifecycle of programs with an emphasis on technical oversight and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a technical degree in Engineering with strong GPA or coursework.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Interest in leading teams toward project goals and deliverables.
• Basic systems engineering knowledge and lifecycle awareness.
• U.S. citizenship is required for federal contract work and related checks.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination of the technical project team to meet budget and schedule.
• Assist in developing spend plans, staffing plans, and project schedule.
• Help create the project backlog, write user stories, and support releases.
• Contribute to program reviews and present cost, schedule, and performance data.
• Collaborate with program management to meet technical objectives.
• Help ensure compliance with DoD, MIL-STD, ITAR, and cyber requirements.
• Assist in proposals, Basis of Estimates, and proposal volumes.
