Job summary

V2X is seeking a Project Engineering Intern for Indianapolis, IN, Summer 2027. You will join a multidisciplinary team designing, developing, integrating, and testing airborne and ground-based systems as part of a fast-paced engineering environment.

You will gain hands-on experience across Systems, Hardware, and Software Engineering while supporting production, supply chain, and quality assurance activities within Agile contexts.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a technical engineering degree.
• GPA 3.0+ strongly desired (unofficial transcript recommended).
• U.S. Citizenship required to support DoD programs.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination of the technical project team to meet budget and schedule.
• Develop spend plans, staffing plans, project schedule, and program org chart.
• Create project backlog, write user stories, and manage releases for Agile projects.
• Support program reviews with cost, schedule and performance data for leadership.
• Collaborate with Program Management to achieve cost, schedule and performance objectives.
• Assist in proposal preparation, including basis of estimates.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams across systems, software, hardware, cybersecurity, integration and test.
