Job summary

KBR is seeking a Cost Analyst for Weapons Programs located at Eglin AFB, FL. The role involves analyzing costs, schedules, and performance to support acquisition planning and execution of advanced weapon systems.

The ideal candidate will have DoD cost estimating experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with EVMS and IPMR/IPMDAR reporting. On-site work with periodic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• 3+ years of directly relevant experience in cost estimating, Earned Value Management, program controls, contract pricing, financial analysis, or a related analytical field.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with demonstrated ability to work with large data sets, develop analytical models, and communicate results.
• Knowledge of EVMS, IPMR, IPMDAR, or related government cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost, schedule, and program performance analysis in support of weapon system acquisition programs.
• Develop and update program cost estimates across development, production, fielding, and sustainment phases.
• Apply regression analysis, learning curves, and Monte Carlo simulation to characterize cost and schedule uncertainty.
• Collaborate with GCAMs, engineers, schedulers, and financial managers to investigate performance issues.
