Job summary

Harold and Associates, LLC in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Computer-Based Training Specialist (CBTS) to join the DoD courseware development team. The role collaborates with ISDs, MMS/GAs, Programmers, QCS, and SMEs to design and deliver instructionally sound training for the US Navy.

The ideal candidate has ILT and ICW development experience, proficiency with AIM and COTS tools (Adobe Captivate or Articulate), and can produce learning objectives, tests, and supporting documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and COTS authoring tools (Adobe Captivate or Articulate).
• Understanding of training product standards and instructional design processes.

Responsibilities

• Develops ICW and supporting documentation.
• Participates in development, testing, maintenance, and delivery of training programs and materials.
• Develops learning objectives and criterion-referenced tests.
• Selects instructional media, materials, and equipment to meet learning objectives.
• Updates course documentation to ensure timeliness, quality, accuracy, and relevance.
• Works with team to meet customer requirements and deliver training products within scope and budget.
• Applies DoD/government standards/specifications.
