Hadrian is seeking an experienced federal budget and public policy professional to lead defense budget engagement from the Pentagon to the Hill. You will shape budget build, provide strategic guidance, and navigate NDAA and appropriation processes.

The role emphasizes deep fluency in budget execution, industrial base management, and cross-branch collaboration, reporting to the SVP, Public Policy. This is an individual contributor role with potential growth.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in the defense budget process across legislative and executive branches.
• Direct experience with reprogramming, NDAA, and budget execution.
• Strong relationships with Pentagon, Hill staff, and financial managers.

Responsibilities

• Own engagement on how the President's Budget is built inside the Pentagon/OMB and Congress.
• Guide topline strategy with congressional leadership and committee offices.
• Translate budget calendars into strategic guidance for executives.
