Job summary

Grey Matters Defense Solutions, LLC is seeking an Algorithms Analysis Engineer in Boulder, CO to support development of advanced tracking and discrimination algorithms for DoD/IC applications.

You will analyze missile tracking, space sensor data, and state estimation, while creating reusable algorithms and presenting results to engineering teams. Strong Python/C++ skills and Linux proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.
• 1+ year of software development experience with Python and/or C++.
• Linux experience and familiarity with common utilities (grep, awk, cat, head).
• Experience developing, analyzing, testing, and implementing extendable/reusable algorithms.
• Experience with data analysis and state estimation.

Responsibilities

• Performance analysis of missile tracking and prediction algorithms.
• Analysis of space-based sensor constellations.
• Algorithm defect tracking and resolution.
• Analysis tool development (Python & Matlab).
• Technical presentations and analysis reports as required.
• Collaboration across cross-discipline teams.
