Job summary

The Sage Group is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for a client in the defense tech space, focused on AI-driven platforms across automotive, defense, and industrial sectors. Onsite in Sunnyvale, CA, relocation assistance offered for the right candidate.

You will lead defense marketing strategy, partner with product management, own positioning, messaging, and campaigns to strengthen the client’s leadership in global defense.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of product marketing experience in software technology spanning multiple industries, including defense.
• US citizenship required to access Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
• Ability to translate complex ideas into clear marketing narratives.
• Strong project management and multi-workstream leadership.
• Experience shaping brand strategy in a tech-led company.
• Strong content development and storytelling skills.
• Excellent cross-stakeholder communication.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead defense marketing strategy and programs to advance the client’s defense pipeline.
• Define positioning, naming, messaging and drive product launch marketing with product management.
• Set marketing KPIs, calendar, and budget guidance.
• Brief and review content across campaigns, video, blogs, press, social, and events.
• Stay current on defense market trends and competitors to maintain a differentiated brand.
