Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Taylor, Texas is seeking a detail-oriented Defect Control Technician to guard wafer quality. You will monitor SPC alarms, triage defect excursions, and act as the first line of defense to prevent defective wafers from moving forward.

You’ll analyze defect morphology using catalogs and image data, justify tool shutdowns, and document actions for audit trails. Requires 2+ years in a semiconductor fab and a high school diploma or technical certification.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or technical school certification preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a semiconductor fab or high-volume precision manufacturing.
• Experience working with defects and basic knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes.
