Job summary

Sterling Construction Company, Inc. is hiring a Heavy Civil/Deep Foundations Project Manager to lead on-site management for Salt Lake City area projects.

The role requires travel, with a focus on structural bridges, piling, shoring and deep foundations across assigned client projects. Ideal candidates will have extensive project management experience in industrial/heavy civil construction, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive projects to on-time, on-budget completion while

Qualifications

• Travel willingness to work across sites as required.
• Experience with structural bridges, piling, shoring and deep foundations.
• Proven track record in heavy civil/construction project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management direction for existing projects and develop new business opportunities relative to clients.
• Plan, organize and manage materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Set objectives, schedules, policies and performance standards within policy boundaries.
• Monitor construction to ensure on-schedule and within-budget delivery; implement corrective actions when needed.
• Represent company in project meetings and assist in labor negotiations.
