Malcolm Drilling seeks a driven Project Engineer to support a Salt Lake City, UT project. You’ll gain hands-on experience in heavy civil construction, deep foundations, and geotechnical engineering while working with industry leaders.

Responsibilities include assisting the Project Manager with takeoffs and schedules, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, studying drawings and geotechnical reports, and helping implement quality control. 90% field work completes this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management is preferred.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong organizational, reliability, punctuality, and work ethic.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Bluebeam; AutoCAD a plus.
• Ability to travel to various job sites within the district.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with takeoffs and construction schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
• Study drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
• Assist the site Superintendent with quality control measures.
• Record and verify on-site activities and production summaries.
• Work 90% in the field and 10% in the office.
• Understand and help implement required safety measurements.
• Attend company-wide training
