Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking AWS Dedicated Cloud Engineers to join the Region Reliability Engineering team in Denver. You will help ensure reliable cloud regions, automate tasks, and collaborate with top engineers to resolve complex issues across the AWS infrastructure.

This role requires active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and a background in development, operations, networking, and systems engineering.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems administration experience (Linux or Windows).
• 3+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, etc.).
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Innovate and automate reliability tasks to reduce manual work and cognitive load.
• Expand regional coverage for AWS critical services and improve resilience.
• Deep dive into interdependencies to preemptively resolve region-specific issues.
• Collaborate with engineers to share knowledge and raise reliability standards.
• Partner with intelligence and defense agencies to ensure secure, reliable cloud solutions.
