Job summary

Allen Distribution is seeking a Class A CDL Driver - Shuttle Driver in Kalamazoo, MI. This full-time role offers a dedicated truck, home every night, and a safety bonus with a modern fleet. Expect no touch freight, comprehensive benefits, and start-day vacation/holiday pay.

Schedule is Tue-Sat, typically 4pm-4am or 5pm-5am, with a strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and customer service. You will operate in a professional team environment with advanced dispatch technology.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and be willing to drive a tractor-trailer on commercial routes.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements for operating a Class 8 vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb in/out of cabs; endure long periods standing or sitting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and compliance with DOT regulations 100% of the time.
• Communicate effectively with shippers and consignees.
• Read dispatch instructions and use e-logs for routing.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report findings promptly.
• Ensure loads are picked up and delivered on schedule.
