Job summary

Allen Distribution is hiring a Class A CDL Driver - Shuttle Driver to operate a dedicated tractor-trailer with a fixed schedule, delivering on a Tuesday through Saturday window and earning load pay around $27.00 per hour. You will work with a modern fleet, receive home every night, and access benefits and an annual safety bonus.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service, with pre- and post-trip inspections and direct communication with dispatch to optimize routes

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Solid understanding of DOT regulations and safety requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively with shippers, consignees and dispatch.

Responsibilities

Operate a Class A tractor-trailer on assigned routes.
Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report issues.
Ensure timely pickup and delivery of loads as scheduled.
Follow dispatch instructions and electronic communications.
