Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Delivery Driver for Dedicated Backhaul to support food distribution across the region. The role involves operating tractor-trailers or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring on-time delivery and proper handling of products.

Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, loading/unloading, and maintaining accurate documentation while upholding safety standards and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure new one.

Responsibilities

• Drive to assigned supplier/vendor and/or PFG warehouse locations according to a route and schedule.
• Delivers loads back to PFG warehouse locations for inventory receiving.
• Performs load and paperwork inspections and quality checks.
• Complete required backhaul paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Communicate route, load, and schedule with supervisor; report issues promptly.
• Secure equipment and complete necessary paperwork at end of shift.
